An empty house (all our household belongings sold, given away or put into storage) and with just a backpack and suitcase each, we said goodbye to Wellington and Brendan, Bre and Billy (our family in Welly) and on the 10th of January 2020 and we began our new life on the road.
Our first stop was Auckland to both see and organise Jay and Annie (well mainly Jay for the organising) and spend some time with Alan’s nephew Jake, who kindly let us stay with him at his lovely home in Birkenhead.
Overall, it was both a busy and an enjoyable time catching up with friends and family (Marie and Rex, Heleine, Antony, Romano and Adrjana, Matt, Rosemary and Mike, and Britta) and generally taking advantage of the New Zealand lifestyle as we didn’t know when we would return.
Great write up! Canberra is a wonderful little city full of surprises and you have done it justice. So looking forward to further posts on your nomadic wanderings. Stay safe!
OMG! Keith and I are amazed! Good for you. Can't wait to read more of your adventures.
